Fauna

Top Three Fauna to date:

• Cows: Even though I knew that cows roam city streets in India, it is different watching one slowly cross an intersection on a crowded city boulevard.  Their immensity and calm really do provide a spiritual grounding in such a chaotic city. Mayor Donchess, what do you say?
• Dogs: The feral dogs have that lean and mean look of an animal that has had to work hard to scrape by. At the same time, the puppies are ridiculously cute. 
• Monkeys: Don't like 'em. Thought I would but I don't. They are like enormous dexterous squirrels with a chip on their shoulder. One of them could swoop in and do some damage way too fast. I much prefer squirrels.

Honorable mention to the big black fish that jump out of the river and talking parrot.
